Spend any time monkeying with boats, and you’ll be patching holes drilled into your hull. Mounting a new gadget, moving a latch, or routing wires often require drilling a hole somewhere. That usually means plugging a hole somewhere else. Depending on the technique and material you use, this can result in unsightly scars or require a lot of elbow grease to make things presentable.
Following is a video showing one way to quickly fill small holes in your hull, in a way that leaves a clean appearance. We mentioned in it our previous article on “The Tao of Rigging – Part IV”, but the video shows you the method in a lot more detail, as well as an additional process for really cleaning up the cosmetics.
