Battery Switches

Incredibly, the Edgewater came without a battery switch.
We added a standard Perko OFF-1-2-All battery switch, and mounted it inside the console, in an effort to protect the switch from the elements.
SLAGIATT, but…
We hadn’t counted on how hard it would be to open the tilting console when the boat was inside the garage (vertical clearance).
Unfortunately, this also made it very difficult to turn the switch on and off.
Now:
We were going to spin the single switch around and have it face outward, but decided to go to three waterproof mini-switches as per a West Marine Advisor.
We also turned the trolling motor circuit breaker so it faced outboard as well.
