Project Description
We added an Offshore Products 42 gallon, oval Leaning Post bait tank (no longer made). This is a really nice tank, with full-column height inlet and outlet slots, and variable tank levels. As we discussed in our post “Search for Toy Boat 2”, a good live-well was a definite requirement for our project boat.
We cut out a cover from a polyethylene cutting board, and used a vertical rod rack to hold the bait net, fish billy, knife, pliers, Bogagrip, bait scissors, etc.
A Shurflo Bait Sentry 800 gph bait pump was our initial choice to drive water circulation.
